If you want success in anything: money, business, relationships, health and/or happiness, you need a plan. Here’s how to plan for real success!
True success is not possible without a plan!
In order to achieve success you need to know what success is to you. You need to know who you are, what you want, what you are capable of, what you are passionate about and how you are going to get there.
All of these insights I have learned from my own life. However, most recently I have discovered a host of great mentors in the field of behavior psychology and motivational speaking. Inspired by these people and my own life experiences I have formulated my own path to success. I want to share this and hopefully you can follow along and develop your own plan for success.
Simply, in order to maintain my focus and achieve what I see as success, I go through the following plan.
- Acknowledge Problems
- Envision Success
- Develop Motivation
- Implement Discipline
- Celebrate Regularly
These are my catchphrases for what is essentially a universal plan for success.
This plan is no different to the plans of all the other experts.
It makes sense, it works and it can make life better for me, you and the entire human race.
I absolutely believe this, and this is why I want to share this program and my story with you today.

I’ve decided to make 2018 my year to achieve all that I am capable of achieving.
I’ve decided to share this with you all because I desire to be a force for change in the world. I want to show all the average Joe’s out there that it is possible to change and to achieve success. I also want to track my efforts and hopefully bring you all along for the ride.
It has taken me a long, long road to get to the point where I can say that I am a success. Even now this is an incredibly difficult thing for me to say. But I am able to say it.
You see this is so hard to say, for two reasons:
1. I was programmed by my upbringing not to say such things, and
2. I used to be a massive loser.
It’s true. I used to be a real loser. When I was 20 I had really nothing going for me. I had given up every advantage of my well-off upbringing and elite boy-school education.
To be as brief and painless as possible:
- I had dropped out of Uni and was working full time as a “checkout chick” in a supermarket. I was earning minimum wage and virtually living in my mother’s basement.
- I was horribly overweight – weighing in, at my worst, at 126KG.
- I hated the way I looked. I had no energy and no passion.
- I hated the way I felt. I had no love life at all. I didn’t even like myself.
- I smoked and drank and other things.
- I was depressed.
What turned it all around?

Hi, My name is Joe Brown and I’m here in beautiful Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, with my lovely fiancé My.
I am an ex-pat English teacher from Perth, Western Australia. I am also an aspiring professional and creative writer on a mission to find success in all areas of my life.
I’ve decided to share this with you all here because I desire to be a force for change in the world. I’m hoping to show all the average Joe’s out there that it is possible to change and to achieve success.
This year I’ve begun a serious study of what brings success and I am dedicated to really go beyond and achieve all that I am capable of achieving.
I will contribute posts here detailing my study and efforts to take my life to a level of ultimate success. For me this means:
- Financial freedom
- Excellent fitness
- Joy in my home life, and
- Inspiration from my work life.
In this journey, I am inspired by the great teachings of some of the best mentors and thinkers of the world and I wish to pass on all I learn in what is hopefully an easy and enjoyable reading experience.
My lovely fiancé My is joining me on this adventure and we both look forward to getting to know you all and invite you to come with us on this amazing journey to success.
